my prop is very loose,

my prop is very loose on my 2000 Mercury 75 hp 2 stroke, how hard is it to tighten? thanks for all your help

Where is it loose at? The shaft or hub? Is there a thrust bushing behind it?

I don't know, I just noticed that I can move it front to back, about 3/4 of an inch.
