My dad had his 5th back surgery today. He was a roughneck back when I was a little tike and that contributed to the first three. About a year ago he had his 4th for a bone spur on his spine. He came out of that surgery in twice the pain than before he started. That surgery took 1.5 hours. Today was #5. It was for a spur in the exact same spot as the previous one, and this time it took 7 hours. The doctor asked lots of questions about the previous surgery. Kinda makes ya say hummmmm. If your the praying kind keep him in your thoughts for a speedy recovery and for it to be a sucess please. His name is Don.
