My first was in Norway.We were doing a NATO op(U.S.M.C.)with anphibian assault vichicles back in '84 and we were stopped on there road in front of a house. This girl that lived at this house, a fourteen year old girl(my guess) started doing little tricks, like walking on the handrails of the deck(2"x4"), then, a few minutes later came over to our vehicle and gave us a bunch of chocolate chip cookies. I really wish I took a picture of her. My second Favorite was in Peru, when a buddy of mine and me went on leave, in civilian clothing and when we went by a grade school we were approached by about maybe 40 kids (8-12 year olds) and they wanted our autographs. I must have signed about 30 at least, and I finally dragged my buddy out of there. I felt 9 foot tall, leaving that school, knowning that Americans are apreiciated somewhere. Ignore speeling errors.
