Mystery switches

I have two toggle switches that energize when the IGN key is on but I have no idea what they are connected to, if they are original or added. The black knob is a dimmer for the gauges. They have wires connected that disappear and I can't find out where they go.

Thanks, I was afraid that was the case. I asked him and he didn't know either. I'll poke around a bit more and see if I can find the other end.
