We just got buried up here in Massachusetts and I couldn't help but sit in front of the tube all weekend. Watching the weatherman holding a 12 inch scale in his hand, then I hear him say it's not long enough to measure the snow from this storm, next sentance out of his mouth baffles me..... "So the engineering team here helped me devise this (forget actual word he used goes here-contraption(?)) that will measure the snow up to 29(?) inches" Then he shows a piece of wood with lines marked off every inch. Isn't that called a yardstick? A short one maybe, but I bet the "engineering team" cringed when he said that for fear of there names being mentioned.

Put a sign on this guy...............
