Do you mean what makes the V4 Johnny a better engine than your Force?<br /><br />Engineering sophistication, parts and service availability, massive low end torque. . . .should I continue? Demand in the marketplace is also a major concern.<br /><br />Good luck.

Don't forget another factor - Marketing. Got to be like them guys on TV. I kinda like the old technology in the Force motors. For the money I paid it's been a good engine - can't speak to the parts because I have not needed any and any Mercury shop will service the engine. I have a tin boat so torque is not an issue for me. I will admit it's a gas hog and not as fast as the brand names, but I knew that when I bought it.
