Name this part?

Hello everyone. I'm new here and have a question about my 87 Bayliner Capri. I am restoring it and what started as a small soft spot in the middle of the deck has turned into a full on resto. just replaced one rotten stringer as well as a few other things with the help of this site. My question is this. WHAT is the name of the black plastic cover that fills the hole in the windshield called? I have one on the starboard side of my boat but there is just a triangular hole where there is no cover on the other side. I would like to order one of these pieces but have been unable to find them anywhere. lil' help? It's located almost where you would figure a side mirror on a car to go. the piece almost mimicks a side mirror. thanks!

I have 88 bayliner capri cuddy but can't imagine what you are describing. Pictures?

if you look at a profile picture of a bayliner you will see toward the front of the sideglass (windshield) there is a black triangular cover where there is no glass. Right where the glass would come to a point. I am working on getting some pics up here, still new to the forum thing.
