Somebody got us some napster cards for christmas this year. We have been able to download music, but unable to transfer the file to an mp3 player because of the dmr protection. What is the deal with this? We pay like .99 per song with these cards. We should be able to do what we want with them. Is this really the way it goes or are we doing something wrong?

You can't do much with them as is. You can convert them into regular old MP3s and do whatever you want with them. You can either burn them to CD and then use another program to rip them back into MP3s, just the same way you would with a CD you purchased. Or there are several different programs that will convert them for you, though I don't know the names of any off the top of my head.
