Re: NASCAR Penalties

Hit each crew chief for 100K...... now that has to hurt. Granted Penske Motorsports will pay it for him....still....thats 200K and 50 total driver and owner points.

NASCAR is getting serious.

Re: NASCAR Penalties

I think Hornaday got off easy given the Shrubby and Gordon penalties for the same type of action. I didn't see the incident, just going by reports.

On the Penske bruhaha and the penalties handed down this week, It seems in nascar eyes that cheating (or getting caught) is more serious than wrecking and trying to maim a fellow competitor.

Re: NASCAR Penalties

The biggest hurt for Penske was the points, although loosing crew/car chiefs couldn't have felt too good........

I guess they didn't put the hammer down on Hornaday because he doesn't have a history like Shrubby did...... I saw the wreck. Hornanday sized Wallace up before he dumped him. It was obvious Hornaday's intentions no matter what he said in the interview. Even hosts on NASCAR radio like Chocolate Meyers believed him. Get real..........

Kind of surprised they didn't nail Brad Keselowski for shooting his mouth off.
Seemed to be worse than what Hamlin said earlier in the year.

I agree its funny how some people don't want to call a Punt a Punt, come on, and for God sakes Hornaday just say it we all know you did it, I like Hornaday but I lost a little bit for him there, just say you did it, I remember a great driver would admit it, never hid the fact that he did it and everyone knew he was going to do it and he is to this day one of the most popular drivers in NASCAR 12 years after he died.

I will never understand how NASCAR fines those under its reigns I don't deny that those penalized deserve it but I don't understand how they do it, Hamlin says nothing and gets blasted, Keso says much more and.......HUH?

The old chrome horn they used to call it. Even Gordon admitted dumping Bowyer last year right after the race and chase.

Re: NASCAR Penalties

It looks like the 99 is setting a new track record in the first practice at Kansas. How track records so far for the Gen 6?
