Got my sx trim tabs installed and took off my whale tail. 1850 bayliner Capri with 5.0. I have them in hole 3. What hole do I move them too if it does what? I can't find any instructions for that. TIA

The further outward you move the pin the less leverage you have therefore it takes more pressure to lift the wing, moving the shock inward increases leverage making it easier to lift the wing resulting in more bow rise. I think I said that right?

I haven't hit the water with them yet. I am just looking for some guidance in what to expect and when to adjust them. If you run different than "stock" adjustment what made you change it? I can and will just go try it but your experiences should shorten my tuning time. Thanks again

I started on hole 3 and ended up in hole 1 with my high five (its a stern lifter). My enertia likes hole 2 its more of a bow lifter.

If you cant get your bow up move it to a lower number. If you have to much bow lift go to a bigger number hole.

How much weight and where it is in the boat changes it also, I set mine for 6 people 2 forward , 2 middle and 2 in the back. With 4 in the back and 2 in the middle I get more bow lift.

if you follow the Big RED link the first shot is with the high five and tabs on hole 2, that was all the bow lift I can get. The setting makes a huge difference.
