Just bought a Nautilus Marine/RV Power Pack(12v portable power)
800 cranking amps...33Ah deep cycle power.
Anybody ever use one of these for their trolling motor. My father has a small 14' aluminum, uses a 30lbs trolling motor.I going to give it to him as a gift just hopeing it will get 6+_ hours out of one charge....any thoughts.

Re: Nautilus

You will be lucky to get an hour out of it. You will definitely not get six hours. Those jump start packs have very little reserve capacity. They are what they are. Emergency jump start boxes. For a trolling motor you need a genuine deep cycle battery.

Re: Nautilus

I should read up on some info first. I wasnt even looking to buy one,its just
that it was 40% off and said 33Ah Deep cycle power"ideal for trolling motors" even has red green navagational lights on it,lol.I didnt know what Ah even was, after seeing that most true deep cycle batteries can have over 100Ah ill probably be taking it back.Hard to buy gifts for fathers.
