I have a 19' bowrider and I replaced the combination bow light with separate port and starboard lights
do I still have to mount them right in front at
The bow or can I move them back closer to the windsheild?

as long as they are visible from a distance of 2 miles away AND they are visible from a point of 6" to 19' above the water line for the distance from 0 to 2 miles, also a color must be visible perpendicular to the keel as well, your fine.
