Just purchased a 17ft AMF(?) Pirate with a 75hp Evinrude. Not sure of the year on either, mid 60s to early 70s I'm guessing. Boat has been completly stripped but came with most of the chrome bits. Motor needs rewiring and cleaning. I have no experiance and am going to learn as I go. Can't find this boat anywhere on the web and would like to locate a picture of what it was like new. I'm guessing AMF because of a partial sticker, but not sure. What are the good web sites with tech and spec info?

If you have a photo of the boat you can always try posting it on the www.fiberglassics.com website. Most of those guys also have brochures for the older boats.
