Ok - pretty much a noob with this stuff - but here it goes:
Have a 96 Bayliner Capri 1954 with a Merc 3.0l I/O
Current RPM is around 4500 WOT
Current prop is 13.75 x 21
Top speed is around 40mph with one person (gps)
Current problem: Doesn't get on plane quick enough when towing heavier skiers/tubers, etc
Also - it doesn't seem to really want to "go" when it is fairly windy or heading into a stiff wind (even the RPM's seem to suffer)
The current prop is a 3 blade aluminum - and it is dinged pretty good (just happened while slowly moving (5mph) I hit a rock..
Any suggestions/thoughts would be appreciated.
