Need a new shifter for a 1978 Mercrusier 470 Fiber Form Sports man boat

I have a 1978 Fiber Form Sportsman and the shifter is missing the neutral switch. Very dangerous when starting the boat if the shifter is not in netural position. What other unite can I replace this with? The motor is a mercruiser 470 inboard. any help is appreciated.

This same picture was used in another thread on Friday. What are the odds of two members with the same problem using the same picture of a 1978 Fiberform Sportster.

Are you sure that there is no switch, it may be there without the wires attached. Are there yellow/red wires going to it? If it is there it will look like a hex bolt with 2 small screws. Can you remove the control and take a picture of the backside. I have installed that very same model several times. It uses 3300 series cables. If you replace it it will have to accept those same cables.
