I Just Bought A 1986 Invader Cuddy Model210. It Is Powered By A Mercruiser 140 Horse 4 Cylinder And A Alpha One Outdrive. There Was Not A Prop On The Boat When Purchased (got Stolen). Does Anyone Have A Idea What Size Prop Would Work. The Guy I Bought The Boat From Thought He Had A 15x17p On It, But Then He Thought It Was A 14 1/2x17. I'm New To This Hobby Need Help. 30 Gallon Fuel Tank 4-5 Passengers Around 600lbs. Please Help The Sun Is Shinng And I'm Ready To Hit The Water (hudson River).
Thanks,rgc426

That sounds about right. But go here, enter the year, make, and model of the engine and outdrive and you will be presented with the available props. Pitch is the key number, 1/2 inch difference in prop diameters is a function of prop design and has little to do with performance of the prop. Use the "Sterndrive" box when entering data (the box in the middle of the page).
