Need a small motor recommendation

I need a new outboard. Something around 10 (9.9) or so. I run every kind of water from small streams where I often have to get out and pull to the Mississippi.

I've looked at Merc / Suzuki and Yamaha. Merc is quite a bit cheaper. Suzuki is in the middle. Yamaha's are very high. What are you guys thoughts and opinions?

yamaha 2-stroke will never let you down, go for a 15hp though ....
