Hi

Just got a 1988 bayliner capri 1950. Looking to either replace the bow and cockpit covers or repair them. There are numerous snaps missing on the covers. Most of them left very small holes, there are just a couple that would probably need a patch installed to hold them, but I have never repaired a cover before so don't know where to start. Anyone point me in the right direction? I've googled the covers but didn't get any useful results, just listings of used boats that included them.

Thanks!!

Try the Yellow Pages (Not sure what to look under?). Guys that do convertible tops for cars sometimes do canvas for boats. A shop near me operates in this manner. I see boats there all the time.

Another thing is to call a boat dealer
they are always having canvas work done and
having custom covers made for customers. And
will have the phone numbers

Luck to ya

Try a Google search for 'boat cover' and you'll get a bunch. Both tailored to fit and universals.

I can't say enough good things about the covers sold here on iBoats. Excellent fit, material, quality, delivery and price. Would buy again in a heart beat. I went for the sharkskin material and have not had a drop of water in the boat since.
