need a stator for a mercury outboard

Hello,<br /><br /> I need to buy a stator for my 1973-74 Mercury<br />outboard 40hp (SN: 3407409). Could someone provide me with a part number for this? Is there a standard part number for this part? Also, could someone recommend a cheap place to buy this part.<br />Sorry to sound so cheap, but I know these parts can be expensive. Thanks for your help.<br /><br />Wayne

This is the stator that is located beneath the <br />flywheel. This motor has the thunderbolt ignition.
