i am thinking to buy a new evinrude150hp and my boat is 25feet is it good and does any body recommend evinrude 150 the new model2008? thanks

what is your boat rated for? 70% of rated hp is considered mimimum hp for a boat. assumed you are speaking of a 2008 150 Etec. they are proving to be great motors.

I would think a 150 would be the minimum for a 25 footer.What brand/style of boat?You might go to the vBRP site and check the many performance reports
make note of the hp rating for the boats,their weight and performance with various horsepowers.
