Need advice on my 115 Evinrude

Help, bought an late 90's?? 18ft Larson with a 115 Evinrude. Ran great last year, this year its stalls when in neutral(sometimes). No rhyme or reason.

Was tuned up last fall then stored for the winter. Starts fine runs great, just not at idle.

Any ideas as to what the issue could be?

What is it idling at? Was the carb cleaned/rebuilt? Set up properly afterwards?

Its fuel injec 4 stroke. It was tuned at the dealership.

Does it idle ok in gear? Might need to take it back and have them bump the idle up a little. I think if memory serves that you need to have the computer to do it.

Runs great in gear. Is there a way that i can use my laptop to get the codes? the check engine horn has sounded?

you can get the plug and software to fit your engine....my buddy bought his on line some where.....may cost a bit but save a hell load of money later....it has a pretty cool interface shows performance curves ..its worth it...checks sensors...coils...

I agree but if the dealership tuned it they should adjust it right at no charge. It only takes a few minutes
