I have a 2012 Bayliner 180 OB with a 2012 Mercury 4 stroke 90HP outboard. It came with a 3 blade 13x19p aluminum black max prop. I wasn't unhappy with the prop, with my usual load I would hit about 5500-5600 RPM and nearly 40MPH in calm water. However, I ran aground around North Captiva last week trying to reach a local watering hole at low tide and wrecked the prop pretty good.

So, I'm now looking for a good general purpose replacement, and web searches don't seem to like to return much for this exact replacement prop. I was recommended to ask here for good suggestions. I'm open to any ideas, our purposes are mostly general, hole shot is not all that important to me, and we rarely tow skiers or go tubing. Stainless or aluminum, I have no real religion about, either. I do like the breakaway hub design of the current black max prop setup, so I'd like to keep that feature. As you can tell, I'm a newbie to replacing props, having owned a jetboat for years prior.

Thanks in advance!

At 5600 rpm 40 mph your prop is running at about 7% slip ,very good.
Speed seems good to excellent.Upper end of typical.
Most props have a cushion hub.
Solas Amita a has a reliable reputation. and is available in a 13 X 19.
You could get adventures with the new style Hustler 2143 1911 hub 501
close to ss performance in an aluminum prop.
Less predictable than the Solas but could deliver across the board improvement.
I do think it could be hard to beat your present performance.

Thanks for that. If I wanted to create an entire replacement package under a worst case scenario where I lose everything at the bottom of the ocean during a swap, I presume I need to purchase the washers and nut separately?

Yes if your starting from scratch you would need to order washer and nut.
