On my evinrude 9.9 1980 I need to tune it up but don't know the defult settings and what to turn to tune?

First, get yourself a Service Manual. Working on an outboard without either experience or a Service Manual is an invitation to disaster. We can help you use it, but we cannot substitute for it.

The Linkage and Synchronization is a tune up
