need break in period after head gasket change?
I know this may be a stupid question. But should there be a break in period after you replace the head gasket? the reason for the replacment was the old gasket started leaking into the cylinders not sure if it was the original gasket or not, the motor is an 1982 evinrude 25. I had the head trued they took 7 thou. off. it started right up and idles good. I let it warm up and shut it down and after it cooled down re-torqued the head bolts, but need to know if I should give it a break period or not? <br />Thanks for the advice.
