**Need coil for 5hp gamefisher/force**

Good day! Does anyone know where I can find a "Prestolite coil" (just the coil itself) for a 5hp Gamefisher/Force....
model#225.587504 ser#J276324. The only # on the coil is 1091. I can't find a separate parts# just for the coil...it only shows a part#712475 for the ignition module. Maybe a coil from a small engine Briggs can be used in it's place???

boats . net has them. CALL them and make sure it's available?
They usually have the parts,just make sure as they can make mistakes.

Thankyou Admiral. I already found a coil on ********** for $89. Mercruiserparts.com has one for $82. but that's highway robbery! Right now I will not pay that kind of money for a little coil. Anyone have a used one out there? Yeah...I know it's not a good idea going with a used one. All of a sudden this 5hp Gamefisher has no spark. I unhooked both kill switches and that didn't help and inspected all the wires. I used a digital multimeter and coil checked out ok with a 0.0 resistance reading, but I'm new at using a meter.
