I have a j30ress with an electric start flywheel already on it but that is all. I found an Evinrude e28esledr. Will I be able to take the parts off of it to complete my conversion? I see the starter bracket part numbers are the same, but the flywheel and starter part numbers are different from my year if mine were electric start.

I know the smaller motors better but omc had design changes between your motor (1990) and the other motor (1996) but it just a guess.

It should work.----Might have to change out the pinion on the starter.
