Need Evinrude 115 Carb Adjustment Help

I have moved my 1978 Evinrude 115 from a 500 foot elevation lake to a 5000 foot elevation lake, and it runs great once up to speed, but doesn't have near it's normal power to pull skiers out of the water. Sounds like it's starved for air. How do I adjust the carbs to help? The original "lean - rich" knob on the front has long been disconnected because the interior mechanism fell apart. There are four screws inside the air intake space. Can these be turned to adjust air. If so, which way to add air?

You don't ad air, but you adjust fuel. Sounds like you need to screw the adjusters in some. If you have someone to run the boat adjust them under way.

I believe that your motor has fixed jets, some one correct me if I am wrong. You can change the jets out for smaller ones that are better suited for your altitude, but you should expect to loose some performance at 5000 feet.

Thank you both. Both ideas will be helpful. I'll try adjusting the four screws in first. If that doesn't, I'll look into changing jets. Thanks again.
