The starter wasn't working on my Evinrude 115 that I just purchase with a little 16' ski boat. My brother-in-law took it apart and cleaned it up really well and put it back together and it fired right up. Trouble is after we installed it back on the motor it appears to be spinning the wrong direction and is not rising to engage the flywheel until after you release the key. Maybe the polarity is reversed or something? He did not diagram the connections when he took it apart so he believes he has some wires crossed. Was wondering if anyone had a diagram from an Evinrude manual that might show the correct connections or any other info that might be of help. Your help is greatly appreciated!!!
