OK guys I really need your help.
I have been having some issues with the unit trimming down very slowly but it worked. Then it completely stopped with the engine partially up. I could not get the engine down even when I took the manual release valve out and stood on the engine!!. I followed the troubleshooting for the electrical issue with the motor and needed to remove the unit. I fixed the "no motor issue" which was a seized brush assembly, however the original hydraulic issue remains.
The unit is on the bench and runs fine. All new fluid. The problem remains that the trim rams will not retract. I have used the manual release valve and the rams will NOT retract by pushing on them. They WILL retract only with the release vale cracked open. When I close the release valve the trim rams will extend as well as the single tilt ram. When i retract the rams only the single tilt ram will retract and then the motor sounds like its finished and the 2 trim rams will remain extended and cannot be retracted again without the manual release valve and the cycle starts all over again.
I'm now at the belief that my original very slow down trim was due to an issue with an internal valve in the manifold and that that issue remains a problem so I need help with how to troubleshoot and fix the hydraulic issues.
