Need feedback on starter motor

I have a mercruiser 5.0 engine my starter motor when bad need feedback on after market marine starter or should I but merc brand

I bought a high torque mini of ebay . I believe from dg electric worked great all last season.

Yeah, take a look at the permanent magnet gear reduced marine starters. Small, powerful and relatively inexpensive.

I find Sierra marine starters very reliable with a no hassle warranty, and much for affordable than oem. List your engine serial number and I can help you cross ref.
