Need: Fiberglass Console, 36" wide , 45" in length, Help

Hi all, I have been searching for a console for a center console boat, and I need it to be 36" in width and 45" in length, it can be a little bigger but not much. I have searched around and the only thing I have seem to come up with was from GB fiberglass has one, I tired the original manufacture which is Cobia but they wont sell me one as they said it wont fit my hull which is a 2003 model, 21 ft. Any help is greatly appreciated...

E-bay has one right now, size i have no idea. I'll post a link to a guy i buy from and he won't cheat you.

But ever thought of making your own? It seams you want what you want, but nobody makes it.

So make your own ! If you can't do it then find a guy local to you who can.

The Chief makes a good point. They're not too hard to fabricate, especially out of plywood. Here's my 14' Jon with a home-made plywood (covered with fiberglass) console:

Hi all, thanks for your help, I would fab one, but I am hoping somewhere someone has to have something that would fit its a 2003 Cobia center console, there has to be something close Thanks again.

ridnlow, I designed one for a boat that I plan to build, it is 36" wide x 48" long x 45" tall, and it will be simple to build out of 3/8" marine plywood. I am including a picture, if it fits your needs you are welcome to build it. It requires three sheets of plywood, but it also includes an Ice chest and a tackle center, with a Faux Inlay cut into the instrument panel and stained with gel stain of two different colors for contrast.

i agree building one isn't as hard or costly as i thouht it would be. my son and i built one last summer for a flats boat we were building. it is much smaller than what you want we decided that the plywood was mostly providing the form and the fiberglass most of the strength. we built up the form and the ground and belt sanded all the edges round. then went to work with cloth and mat covering it. again grinding and sanding a couple of layers of glass. then final sanded it with fine grit to a almost gloss finish. we did it in 4 or 5 evenings after work. if you can't find a salvage or new one building one is not a hard option.
