I have a 94 force 120 and need help checking the the stator and or regulator

A OHM METER SET TO OHMS X1000.TAKE READING ON HIGH @ LOW SIDE RESISTANCE SHOULD BE GREATER THAN 600 OHMS. GO ACROSS TWO SOLID COLORS @ SOLID COLORS WITH A STRIPE IN THEM.

Something the dealer won't come right out and tell you is that the original stator in your 120 Force is faulty from the factory. Updated part is red in colour. I found this out a year after my warranty expired. Pick up a manual. Electrical diagnosis is clearly illustrated and easy to follow.
