need help contructing circuit for this to work

I removed the gauge circuit from my boat on a rebuild and thought Iwould not want a fuel gauge.
Now I need help contructing a fuel gauge circuit for the items in the picture
using a 12 volt source.

well we need to know type of tank. opening for the sending unit has to match sending unit, depth of tank, and sending unit have to match. guages are pretty much universal.

this hardware came out of a 6 gallon metal outboard fuel tanks from the mid sixties.

I think there should be a terminal on the gage that you connect the black float wire to, the red one goes to power and another goes to ground.

Another way to look at it without the internals of the gauge to confuse things.
