need help dt140

I'm buying a 99 dt140 tomorrow. it does not have a lu on it. I'm going to use the foot off my 95 dt115. Will my prop work on the 140 or will it be to small? I'm not sure what size my prop is but it's a ss 4 blade.

is there any problems with the 99 efi engines? Thanks for the help

Your prop should work. Something between a 18 and 20 pitch but it depends on the boat, etc. I'm using the 18 pitch 4 blade on my 140 that came off my 115. WOT is a little high around 5900 but I never run WOT but that's my setup with my boat.

Thanks for the help. Mine is going on s 18' pro sports flats boat. I never ran the old motor over 4000rpms so I should be good from your info. Thanks for the help
