Need help findind a manual and parts list

I have a 9.9 evenrude Model: 10624R S/N: E0001726 and I need to find a manual and preferably a parts list for this model.

The lower end of the motor will not go into gear and I am afraid I will have to replace parts since I found metal shavings in the oil when I drained it.

if anyone can point me to an electronic manual and parts list or even where I can purchase cheaply, I would be ever grateful.

PS.. Can anyone tell me what year this motor is?

You can find your parts manual at the BRP [Bombardier Recreational Parts] Parts Manual site [copy to browser without quotation marks]:

You can enlarge and print the diagrams for the various areas of the motor. You can right-mouse on the parts lists for the sections and download to Excel.

You can find new service manual copies for your motor at these sites:

Often there are new or nearly new copies on Ebay.

Thanks for the parts catalog link. I'll probably find that very useful.

Were the factory service manuals very specific? Or was the only one for a given HP rating and year?

For instance, I have an 85ESL69S. I've seen models 85ESL69M and 85ESL69E. Will all three be covered in the same service manual?
