THe model number is 25953R.It's from 1979. It doesn't have the added midsection. Just a plain simple 25hp in need of some love. <br />The reason I need the kit is...I noticed that the real seal was leaking some oil. I could just replace that one, but if that one is leaking..I might as well do them all. The unit shifts into gear fo/rev without any problems and it has smooth rotation. So it's only a tear down to replace the seals. <br />Another thing I noticed with this model is...that the shaft is in the air(loose). So if I inspect the gears and decide to replace some...is there any shimming involved? I would think not since the shaft is basically in the air.
