Need help finding a small gas tank

I need to find a small gas tank, above 7.5 gallons, prefer more like 10 gallons or more.<br /><br /><br />Problem is it goes into the console and I need a tank with a very small footprint, dont care about the heigh of it as the console is tall.<br /><br />so far the best I can find is this:<br /><br />11-3/4" W x 18" L<br /><br />this is a 11.5 gallon tank, i would prefer a little smaller footprint even if possible. This is an "underdeck tank" I am searching for, thanks!<br /><br />-John

You could always have a steel one made to your specs at a shop. Would probably cost a little more, but you could get exactly what you want.

I thought about that, went to boaters world tonight and picked up a tank, 11.5 gallons, just going to gave to build the console 25" long instead of 20", I figure I can deal with that! Thanks guys<br />-John

Just do a yahoo search on "marine fuel tanks". Tempo is one manufacturer that comes to mind. I was looking for a tank some time ago but solved the problem by buying a new boat. Hows that for overkill. They are available in vertually every size -- you just need to search.

you might use a 30 gallon drum and adapt it.. small footprint and tall,,,, could be done...good luck.......
