Need Help finding year of Evenrude Motor

That's a 1972 model. If you're going to be working on that motor yourself, get yourself a shop manual for it. The factory manual's the best bet, but you can get by for most stuff with the Seloc manual that covers your model and year.<br /><br />You can get that manual right here by clicking the "Manuals" link at the top of this page.<br /><br />You can also visit your library. It may well have the Seloc or Clymer manual that covers your model.<br /><br />Don't do this without the manual, though, unless you're an old hand at working on outboards.

Need Help finding year of Evenrude Motor

Just bought a 9.5 Evinrude Sportwin motor.<br />Model: 9222M<br />Serial: J0181XX<br /><br />How can I tell what year the motor is.<br />I also need some assistance locating a link on the web showing me how to change the impeller.<br />Thanks in advance
