Need help from experienced pontooners

I recently bought a 20' Lowe Suncruiser Trinidad. The gear/lever control is broken. Where is the best place to order a replacement and does the dealer have to replace? I appreciate help. I have a 50 evinrude.

you mean the motor control box. it has to be compatible with the motor. no dealer does not have to install.

As Tash says, it has to be compatable with the motor and is a relatively easy install.

If the control is not literally broken, but only inoperable, you may first disassemble to see if you can locate the problem.

I once had a Mercury control box that would not go in reverse. I found a $2 retaining clip was bad that held the reversing cable stationary.
