Need HELP! How do I run without the trim motor

hooked up? I have a Farce 150 (about 350 pounds) on a 20' Trophy, and I was getting my trim motor repaired and UPS lost the shipment, and I need the boat for this weekend, and however many weekends it takes for UPS to find my trim motor.
Anyway, the first question is should I remove the hydraulic lines that are now attached to nothing (valve body missing also)? I was scared they would bend or break or get water in them or something.
Secondly, should I lock the motor in place somehow and how do I do this? I know performance will suffer, but I just want to take the boat out while UPS is trying to find the $500 worth of parts they lost. Someone mentioned a "tilt lock pin" but I have nothing like this, as I bought the boat used. I have the trailer bracket for it to sit on while trailering, so that is not a problem, but I am wondering how to enjoy the boat while I am waiting.
Please give me some advice!

I wouldn't remove any lines since water would get into the assembly and wouldn't work either, there should be a manual relief screw that you can open to allow the engine to be manually positioned. Once positioned you can tighten the screw. Once you loosen the screw the engine is still quite heavy, I don't how you can do this on the boat since this manaul screw is below the water line.

The manual release screw is nonfunctional because the trim motor is gone. I can move it up and down with my hand...I think I need to lock it in place somehow. The boat is on a trailer - I was gonna get the engine in one position before I put it in the water and leave it there until I took it back out of the water. I have a trailer bracket that I can lift the engine onto to trailer, I just want to be able to lock it in a down position to use.

I would just skip this weeks fishing trip. Could save you a lot of headaches in the long run.

you can remove all the lines and plug, i believe you will need 3/16 brass plugs you can buy from hardware store. you will have to remove the entire t&t assembly to get the line off the trim cyl. you will have no reverse and if you try the motor will come out of the water which will make docking and loading very difficult. i dont recommend trying but can be done. you might check into renting a boat and try to get UPS to pay the bill.
