Hello all. I am new to this community and I'm hoping some of you folks can help me with this.

I have an opportunity to become the new owner of a late 80's Larson sea vessel. However, it is several hours away from me and I do not know what model it is.

The current owner is not near the boat nor does he know what model boat it is.

Identifying the model of boat will help me to determine what type of trailer I need to obtain to be able to pick up this boat.

Any idea what boat this is by this picture?

Looks quite a bit like a 1988 Larson DC 215 Cuddy.

That looks like it. Why is it so hard to find information about these boats on the internet?

Any suggestions on what I should look for on the boat when I go to check it out?

The usual, soft floor, bad stringers, rotted transom, etc. A survey of the boat would be a good idea if you are serious about the boat.

Not sure about the boat condition but I wouldn't want to haul it cross-country on that trailer.
I grew up with a Larson boat (60's). Dad sold it for a bow rider and I never forgave him and I don't think he ever forgave himself. That Larson was a great boat in any water conditions we found in puget sound. Hopefully, the survey comes out clean.

I was thinking the same thing about the trailer. I know that the trailer I get must be the correct size and made for the correct weight... any guesses on the weight of a boat like this?

Thanks dude

LARSON might also be able to suggest their favorite trailer to you.

Welcome aboard.
