Need help identifying old star craft ('55 based off of registration)

I do not know what the HIN number or serial number is or where to find it. We looked on the transom and couldn't find anything and we looked on the registration and couldn't find anything. The boat measures 12 foot, it has benched seats, it is aluminum, and has v-stabilizers underneath. I need to know the model of the boat in order to purchase a cover.

Don't want to be a Grinch, but you won't find a cover for this exact boat. It's too old. You can look in the Starcraft brochures, but they don;t go that far back. Find a good universal cover for a 12 footer and all will be good. I see you have boat cover sockets to support the center with battens.

That's alright I was afraid of that haha. So most 12 foot starcrafts' are the same dimensions and a universal 12 foot cover would work? And where could I find the model name/number for this specific boat? Or do you need more information? Thank you for your reply.

Prior to 1972 there wasn't a CG reg requiring that a boat have an affixed HIN on it. All we have so far in our library is back to 1958, take a look.
