I need help identifying the correct prop for my outboard motor Yamaha 50HP. The numbers I got from the current prop is "14 G Y-2". What does it mean? What size of prop should I be looking for? See attached picture. Thanks.

There may be more numbers under the prop nut.It appears to be a 14" pitch as the Yamaha 50 doesn't use a 14" diameter prop.
We need more specific information to tell what you need for a prop.model and year of the motor, Size style and dry weight of boat.
typical load and activity.
A lightly loaded wot(wide open throttle) test with the rpm and gps speed. Will tell us a lot.

Year Make: 2003
Make/Model: Yamaha 50TLRB
Serial#: 6H5 L 1004291

Bought the boat used with no manual so I don't really know the dry weight of the boat. It's a 16.8 FT Aluminum Polar Kraft with maximum capacity up to six people. Can't recall the maximum weight but I think it's around 675 lbs.

If you get us the information from a lightly loaded wot test run. rpm and gps speed.
If the boat is full dress with floor, deluxe seats ,windshield gear, trolling motor?
Weight is likely about 1000 lbs A little basic probably 600 or 700.
The motor needs a prop that allows it to operate within its rpm range 4500-5500.
The final size will depend on your typical load and activities.
Some boaters use more than one prop.
