need help identifying this boat

I drove past this boat hundreds of times over the past few years and finally stopped to talk to the owner. Turns out they were thinking of selling the boat due to the woman having ms. We settled on 650 for the package with a Johnson seahorse 6hp that needs work. The trailer is a 66 shipmate? Tilt and the boat is registered as a 68 Grumman 14'. The boat no longer has the I'd tag on it and I can't find any info on old Grumman boats. Anyone know what it is? Oh it's a flat bottom.

From what I understand from reading this forum, it won't have a hull ID number being a 68ish, they didn't start doing HINs until 72 or so. Looks like a cool little boat tho.
