So I need help identifying this steering actuator. The numbers on the engine are gone, the numbers on the outboard are also gone. BUT, on the transome in the engine bay I have found that SX-C1. Obviously this steering actuator is junk cause somehow it busted. I bought this boat a few years so...used it for one summer...the steering was STIFF (Found out today that I need a new steering cable, ORDERED). I also had issues with it idling and running properly when I put it in gear...it would die, I needed to give it a lot of gas for it to run. Found out a few days ago someone installed pre-vortec intake gaskets into a 4.3 vortec engine (after I rebuilt the carb, UGH). So I got that fixed. Now I'm working out the steering issues. But I cannot get a definite answer on which steering actuator this is. Its out of a 1999 Caravelle 1900 bowrider, with a 4.3, I think thats everything. Can anyone help?
