my 40 hp mariner 4cyl ran fine wot for about 20 minutes,then as i throttled down it started missing then i went to idle and it was a racing idle at 2000 rpm,i tried to take off but it just bogged down at wot but ran ok at 2000 rpm, i shut it down for about 15 minutes, started it up and ran fine again until i throttled down the same thing happend i put it nuetral it was at a high idle and bogged down before 2000 rpm and after but it ran ok at 2000rpm, anyone have any ideas what would cuase this ? thanks, Tim.
