need help on a 1989 25ph evinrude tracker motor

i have a 1989 25ph evinrude tracker motor.....it is not geting any fire....what should i do to find out why its not getting fire ....it tuning over but not firing up......the motor was not fired up for about 7 years i think....so if any one can help me to tell me what to do or know a web site that got video how to check out the problem or tell me what to check and how to check it thanks

i need the torque specs for the flywheel net .....i have a 1989 25ph evinrude tracker

The manual says 100-105 ft.lbs. or 135-140 Nm

dose my 1989 25ph eninrude tracker have points on it if it dose where are them it not right under the flywheel ......here is my mod # te25elceb and here is the ser # r08234297

ok i pop off the flywheel and clean the rust off in side the flywheel and there is a little strip of metal on the back of the power pack assembly that was rusted to and i clean that to and i put the flywheel back on.......and im still not getting no spark.....what can i check and how can i check please give me details how to check and fix the problem.....or if the a video out there to tell me step by step how check and fix that will be cool......because i do not know what im doing .....thank for that help me so far

OK, if I didn't have spark on either cable. I would first check the ground wire on the power pack and both coils. You'll need a cheap multimeter to check this. Also, verify no loose connections to the coils and power pack.

ok dose any one has a color wire diagram for the motor and the controls for a 1989 evinrude tracker 25ph the mod. # te25elceb to tell me where every thing go

how do i test the power pack and the ignition coil do i need someone to crank over the motor or do i tune the key on or what do i do ...and what do i tune the multimeter at and what numbers should it show when good or bad

the problem was that i did not know there is a kill switch that u have to pull out to start it ...my old boat motor was a 1967 evinrude 90 hp ...and my new boat motor is a 1989 ...so i didn't know .....p.s i need to know how adjust the carburetor when im putting it back together ...the motor is a 1989 evinrude tracker 25 hp the model # is te25elceb

i got 2 ? 1.is are my spark plugs when i take them out are they suppost to be wet or dry.........2.i have a electric primer system and there is a red manual vale..... is the point of the vale suppost to face the front of the boat or back of the boat
