Need Help on Hose Identification

Please see the picture I posted on a water hose I need. It is for a 1999 454 MPI on the starboard side from the thermostat to the exhaust manifold. I believe the OEM number is 32-861318 but I just need confirmation this would be the correct hose.

Without your engines Mercruiser serial number, there is no way to confirm the part number of that hose by 1999 454 MPI alone. To many different versions.

Here is the serial number of the motor, OL-085359. When I access that S/N in the online Mercruiser parts catalog it is telling me I should have a closed cooling system which is not the case. I even put in my other engines S/N and came up with the same situation. I can't believe how difficult it is becoming to identify a simple water hose. Help!

Here is the serial number of the motor, OL-085359. When I access that S/N in the online Mercruiser parts catalog it is telling me I should have a closed cooling system which is not the case.

Scroll down the list and look at the "Standard Cooling System" section. That will show you the raw water system. I can't tell from your picture what the hose goes to on either end.

EDIT: After looking at your picture again, it looks like item 17 is the hose you want, and it is the number you have posted.
