Well I done it ........when torqueing the head my baby finger was increasing the dial each time I pulled the wrench and broke a head bolt off below the surface.............Anyway I was able to remove a broken easyout but then broke off a tap in the block......I need to get the block machined as I broke every bit I had trying to drill out the tap.
My question is I don't want to split the block the machine shop says once I remove the powerhead they can lay it on the intake just remove the carb's etc........My manual tells you how to rebuild the powerhead but not how to remove it....What is the easiest way to remove the powerhead intact.....how many bolts ...........head is off but I want to leave the intake and electric's, flywheel
Thanks.........B.O.A.T...............Bring Out Another Thousand
