I removed the 6 bolts from underneath the motor but the thing won't budge. Am I missing something? Could it just be stuck from never being removed?

I am completely stuck and don't know what else to do. Any help would be great.

It's a 1991 115 Evinrude

Thanks!

You should also have 2 bolts and 2 nuts at the front under the lower cowling and a pair of nuts at the rear.

Okay, I did get the ones in front off but really wasn't sure if they had anything to do with the mounting. I can't get one of the nuts in the back, but again I wasn't sure if they were mounting bolts either.

Thanks for the help, I'll keep working on that one nut.

I'll have to figure out where the shift rod is. The diagrams in the manual are not very helpful.

If it's like most other OMC motors, the shift rod is under the carbs. It's easiest, if you are removing the powerhead, to pull the carbs and the starter off first, it will make getting to the disconnect much easier.

Okay, thanks. I already have all that stuff off. I'll go check it out.
